This article covers the Items page. 



From the Items tab, users can view the Items grid, which lists all existing purchased items and their item details. From this list, users can access an item's Purchased Item Record, where users can view item costs, transactions, and its connections across R365. Users can also edit an existing record, if needed. 


Security


Users with the following Permissions will be able to access the Items Page:


Food → Purchased Items → View Purchased Items

Food → Vendor Items → View Vendor Items

Navigation



To access this page, first, navigate to Smart Ops. From the left navigation pane, click Items under Food Admin.




Items Page





FieldDescription
Verify Item SetupRefreshes all purchased item records, apply any changes to units of measure, and recalculate costs.
Item Location GroupsView or edit location group configurations.
+ CreateCreates a new purchased item record.

Note: Beta users can also create a new vendor item
Items tabOpens the list of all existing purchased item records.
Vendor Items tab - Coming SoonOpens the list of all vendor item records. 
SearchFilters the list for the keywords entered. 
Table FunctionsAs with all smart grids, from the items grid, Users can do the following:
  •  - Save/edit Table Views
  • - Filter Column information
  •  - Rearrange table columns
  •  - Export the table to a .csv file
  •  - Refresh the table

Items Tab


From the items page, users can view the list of all existing purchased item records. From here, users can also verify item setup, configure item location groups, and create new purchased items. To read more about the items grid, click here.


 


Vendor Items Tab (Coming Soon)


Note: The new vendor items feature is in beta. Users can access the classic vendor items list by clicking Vendor Items from under Food Admin. This will open the classic vendor items grid


From the Vendor Items tab, users can view the Vendor Items grid, which lists all linked and unlinked vendor items and their details. From this list, users can access an item's Vendor Item Record, manage unlinked vendor items, and view any existing price variances.

Vendor Item Record


Users can open existing vendor item records by clicking a vendor item from the vendor items grid. To learn more about the Vendor Item Record, click here.


Purchased Item Record 


Users can open existing purchased item records by clicking an item name from the items grid. To learn more about the Purchased Item Record, click here



Adding a New Purchased Item


Adding a new Purchased Item can be done by clicking the +Create button from the top of the Items list. This will open a new purchased item form. To learn more about creating a new Purchased Item, click here
