    My Reports

How do I get last year’s sales to show up on my Flash Report?

If you are new to R365 and want your prior year (PY) sales to show up alongside your current sales on the Flash Report, you will need to import your ‘Historical Sales’. These are different than your ‘Beginning Balances’ that you imported during initial setup. Click the following link for more information on ‘Historical Sales’

If you are an established R365 user, but are not seeing historical sales in your Flash Report, or are seeing Historical Sales from the wrong days, review your Fiscal Year Setup. Ensure that your Operational Calendar for both the current and prior year is using the same weekday (M/T/W/Th/F/Sat/Sun) as the first day of the year

For more information on adjusting the day or date comparison, view this training article.

Can I create a report that shows daily totals for guest comps and promos?

You can obtain this information by running the Sales Payment Analysis report. Simply customize the parameters to include the Payment Type values of your choice and run the report to find daily totals for guest comps and promos.

How can I change my week beginning and ending dates on my reports?

On your reports, you may notice that your weeks begin and / or end mid-week. This is a result of your Fiscal Year settings, which allow you to set periods for both fiscal needs and operational / reporting needs (jointly or separately). You can learn more about your options in Fiscal Period/Year Setup training article.

How do I save a report as a favorite?

The 'Favorites' tab is the default tab when 'My Reports' is loaded and lists all reports marked as a 'Favorite' in alphabetical order. If no reports have been marked as a 'Favorite', then the 'Favorites' tab will be empty.

To mark a report as a 'Favorite', navigate to one of the Report Category tabs and locate a report to add to the 'Favorites' tab. Click the star icon to the left of the report name to save the report to the 'Favorites' tab.

Reports can also be removed from the 'Favorites' tab by clicking the star icon next to the desired report.

Why do I have an Unassigned Vendor / Customer in my Aging report?

There are two ways that an unassigned Vendor/Customer can happen:

    1. Accounts payable/receivable open transactions do not match the imported trial balances for AP/AR at go live.

    2. Transaction line items are manually written to the Accounts Payable/Receivable accounts that are set up in the System Preferences.

Why is my Report Subscription not displaying any data?

Typically, a Report Subscription will not display data due to any issue with the way its Date Settings are saved. If you find that the information below does not reflect your current Report Subscription issue, please contact R365 Support for more assistance.

Depending on how the Date Settings were set up for your Report Subscription, one of your daily reports may not display any data. If the report's Date Settings are set for the first day of the current week with an end date minus 1 day, all daily reports will appear with data except for the set first day, since it would be listed as the first day minus 1. In this case, if Monday is the first day of the week, then Tuesday through Sunday will display daily data correctly, but that first Monday will not have data to show.

To account for this, set the following two report subscriptions to ensure all daily reports are populated with the necessary data:

Report Subscription 1 - All days except first day of current week

    • Start Date - First Day of Current Week

    • End Date - Days Before Run Date = 1

Report Subscription 2 - Only first day of current week

    • Start Date - First Day of Previous Week

    • End Date - Days Before Run Date = 1
