W2 and 1099 Tax Forms will be available to review beginning Friday, January 1, 2021. W2s must be approved by 12 pm CST on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
If your W2s or 1099s are not available for review by January 5, then they are still in Internal Review, which is R365's process of reconciling your 941 tax returns on the W-3 and also identify any other data-related errors.
Starting with the 2020 tax year, the IRS is requiring Non-Employee Compensation to be reported on the 1099-NEC Tax Form. Therefore, R365 Payroll will print all tax forms as 1099-NEC Tax Forms.
- Note: Contact R365 Support about any forms that need to be reported as 1099-MISC so that they are not reported in error.
