The Daily Roster Report shows a listing of the Employees schedule to work for a chosen Daypart or AM/PM Shift. From this report, Managers can view who will be working as well as their accumulated weekly and overtime hours. This can help guide Managers on making the best staffing decisions without having Employees hit overtime.



Navigation


To navigate to the Daily Roster Report, click 'My Reports' under 'Reports' in the left pane and then select 'Labor' in the top header of the reporting window. Once opened, a listing of reports will be shown. 


Find 'Daily Roster Report' and select 'Customize' next to the report. This will open up a listing of all Report Parameters that can be used to define your report.



Report Parameters



1) Responsibility - This button allows you to 'Show' or 'Hide' the Job Responsibilities associated with the Jobs listed

2) As Of - The schedule date

3) Phone Number - This button allows you to 'Show' or 'Hide' the phone number of he Employees on the report

4) End Time - This button allows you to 'Show' or 'Hide' the end time to the Employee shifts on the report

5) Group Shifts - These groupings include 'Day Part', which references the names and times of the parts named in the Labor Matrix, if enabled (the example above references Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner), and 'AM/PM', which categorize shifts based on the morning or evening hours

6) Location - The restaurant Location that the User would like to run the report for

7) Show Metric - This includes the Sales, Labor Percentage, Goal Percentage, Total Hours, and Prior Year Sales of this day when ran

8) Daily Hours - If enabled ('On'), this will display the total scheduled hours for the day for each Employee

9) Weekly Hours - If enabled ('On'), this will display the actual hours + the remaining scheduled hours for each Employee

10) Overtime Warnings - If enabled ('On'), this will display any overtime hours as one of the following:

  • Blank - Nothing will be listed when the Employee is not near OT
  • 'Maxed Out' - This will be listed when the actual hours worked + the Employee's remaining scheduled hours reaches the max hours without hitting overtime
  • # of OT Hours - This will list the estimated number of overtime hours based on the actual hours worked + the remaining scheduled hours

11) Sort Within Job Code By - This option will sort Employees by name or shift start time within the Job Code section

12) Run Button - Runs the report. Users can also send, export, or print the report directly from this button by clicking the down arrow portion and selecting the desired action. Click here to learn more about this functionality

Report Columns




1) Sales - The amount of forecasted Sales for the day. If a forecast was not made, then the average Sales of this particular weekday from the previous 8 weeks will be displayed

2) Labor % - The percentage of Labor

3) % Goal - The Labor Goal Percentage

4) Ttl Hrs - The total Labor hours for the day

5) PY Sales - The Prior Year Sales for this day

6) Job Code - The Job Code of the Employee(s) with the Employees listed under it either in alphabetical order or based on the shift start time, based on the setting chosen in the Report Parameters. Next to the Job Code, the total number of hours worked for that Job Code and Day Part or AM/PM

  • Note: All Employees under the age of 18 will have 'MINOR' appear next to their names. This is based on the value used in the Birthday field of their Employee records

7) Shift Time - The start and end times of the Employee's shift

8) Daily Hrs - The total number of hours scheduled for the day per Employee

9) Weekly Hrs - The total number of hours worked + the remaining scheduled hours for the week

10) OT - The overtime hours for the Employee, which will appear as one of the following:

  • Blank - Nothing will be listed when the Employee is not near OT
  • 'Maxed Out' - This will be listed when the actual hours worked + the Employee's remaining scheduled hours reaches the max hours without hitting overtime
  • # of OT Hours - This will list the estimated number of overtime hours based on the actual hours worked + the remaining scheduled hours



Email, Export, or Print the Report
