Advanced Budgeting in Restaurant365 allows Users to build and customize Budgets to meet the needs of their organization. Budgets can be created for both Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement Accounts. Budgets can be created from Prior Year Actuals or from a Blank template. To create and modify Budgets in Restaurant365, a User must have the Security Role of Accounting Manager or Accounting Clerk. This security will grant the user access to the Account menu in the top ribbon of Restaurant365. Click here for more information on Security Roles in Restaurant365.
Users can access the Advanced Budgeting feature by logging in through a web browser and selecting 'Accounting' from the module selector at the top of the left nav pane. Navigate to the 'General Ledger' subsection and select 'Budgets' to view a listing of existing budgets.
To open the Budget Parameters screen and create a new Budget, hover over the 'Account' menu in the top ribbon and select 'Budget'.

Create a New Budget
