Advanced Budgeting in Restaurant365 allows Users to build and customize Budgets to meet the needs of their organization. Budgets can be created for both Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement Accounts. Budgets can be created from Prior Year Actuals or from a Blank template. This training article will provide an overview of the Advanced Budgeting feature in Restaurant365 with links to specific articles covering every aspect of Advanced Budgeting
Users with one of the following Primary Security Roles have the ability to create and modify Budgets:
- Full Access
- Accounting Manager
- Accounting Clerk
Users with the following Secondary Security Role has the ability to view and edit Budgets:
Users with the following Secondary Prohibit Role will be unable to save, approve, and delete but will be able to view a Budget:
- Prohibit JE/GL Changes

Users can access the Advanced Budgeting feature by logging in through a web browser and selecting 'Accounting' from the module selector at the top of the left nav pane. Navigate to the 'General Ledger' subsection and select 'Budgets' to view a listing of existing budgets.
To open the Budget Parameters screen and create a new Budget, hover over the 'Account' menu in the top ribbon and select 'Budget'.

Create a New Budget
