    Article summary

Here, users can update the funding account for a payroll company, as well as view the pay cycle and employee classification settings for that payroll company.

    Funding Account

The funding account listed is the bank account that will be debited when a pay run is processed. Only one funding account can be on file at a time.

Funding accounts are verified through Finicity. This verification will link the funding account for payroll to R365, allowing the system to ensure the account has enough funds before payroll is processed. This will safeguard your company from any unnecessary banking fees or penalties resulting from insufficient funds.

    Pay Period

Pay period refers to the span of days in which employee earnings are compiled for a traditional pay run. Traditional pay runs will automatically populate on the first day of the next pay period.

While the payroll company's pay period is not displayed on the Account page, it is directly connected to the company pay cycle. The duration of each pay period is determined by the configured company pay cycle. The starting date of each pay period is determined by the last day of the prior pay period.

    Employee Classification

Employee classification settings can only be changed by R365 Support. To change the employee classification settings for a payroll company, please contact R365 Support.

Employee classification shows the hour threshold at which employees are classified as full time versus part time.
