    Article summary

    The Sales Payment Analysis Report displays all the Payment Types associated with each Payment Group. This report displays a clear distinction between Payment Types so a User can see how payments are most often made.


    1. First, navigate to My Reports.

    2. Click the Sales tab in the top header of the reporting window. Once opened, a listing of reports will be shown.

    3. Locate Sales Payment Analysis.

    4. Select Customize to adjust the report parameters before running the report.
      - or -
      Select Run to run the report with the default report parameters.


    Report Parameters

    Filter By

    Filter options for the report:
    • Legal Entity

    • Location

    • Area Manager

    • Region

    • Group

    • Concept

    Filter

    A list of filter options, determined by the 'Filter By' category selected (#1).

    Start Date

    First date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for which data is generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates.

    End Date

    Last date for which to pull data for the report. The 'Start' and 'End' parameters create the date range for which data is generated. The report then displays data for all dates within the date range, including the start and end dates.

    Payment Group

    Select the payment categories to display on the report.

    Payment Type

    Select the payment types to display on the report.

    This section provides options to select, save, edit, or delete a report view.


    Report Columns

    Description

    Payment Group

    Groups by which payment types are organized (cash, credit, comp, etc.).

    Payment Type

    Name given to payments and discounts in your POS system that was imported into Restaurant365.

    Location

    QTY

    Number of times the payment type was used. This column is grouped by location.

    Total

    Total amount of sales made using each payment type. This column is grouped by location.


    Drill Down on Location QTY

    Non-zero values in the QTY columns can be drilled down on to view server and check number details. These values will be hyperlinked.

    To drill down, click a hyperlinked value from the QTY list.


    This will open the Sales Payment Analysis Details, which lists the QTY and Total values by server.

    To view the sales ticket numbers, users can expand a server’s entry. This will expand the list to show the sales ticket numbers associated with the server.


    Email, Export, or Print the Report

    This report can be emailed, exported, or printed in custom formatting directly from the reporting window. Click here to learn how to send, export, or print this report.
