The Trial Balance report displays the final accruals for GL accounts, allowing users to check that the accounts are in balance. This is usually run at the end of a period and can be helpful when creating financial statements. If the debt and credit columns do not match, use this report to figure out which accounts should be further analyzed.

  1. In the Reports section of the left navigation pane, select My Reports.
    The My Reports screen appears.
  2. At the top of the My Reports screen, select Financial.
    The screen generates a list of reports in alphabetical order.
  3. Locate the Trial Balance report.
  4. Select Customize to adjust the report parameters and run the report.

Report Parameters



1) Filter By - A listing of all Location categories.

2) Filter - A listing of all Locations associated with the selected Location category.

3) Rounding - Clicking 'No Rounding' will include decimal values while clicking 'Whole Numbers' will round decimal values to the nearest whole number.

4) Hide 0 Balances - Clicking 'Yes' would hide any zero balances.

5) Account View - 'Name' will alphabetically organize GL Accounts while 'Number Then Name' will organize by GL Account number.

6) Include Stat Accounts - This option will include Stat Accounts on the report if 'Yes' is selected.

7) View options - Click here to learn more about Report Views and their added functionality.

8) Run Button - Runs the report. Users can also send, export, or print the report directly from this button by clicking the down arrow portion and selecting the desired action. Click here to learn more about this functionality.
