Events allow you to enter Events happening in the area (local sporting event, conference, etc) that might effect the Restaurant. When viewing the Schedule Calendar, you have the option to display Events at the top of each Day Column to assist in your Scheduling needs.



Create an Event


Hover over the Scheduling Menu and select 'New Event'.  The Event Form will load in a new tab:



To view the list of existing Events, navigate to the Scheduling Module and open the 'Events' list in the left nav



Event Form


1) Name - Enter the Event Name as it will be displayed on the Schedule Calendar

2) Start Time - Enter the Start Time for the Event.  The Start and End Times will be displayed alongside the Event Name

3) Date - Enter the Date that the Event will occur on.  The Event will then appear on this Date on the Schedule Calendar (when the User has chosen to view Events on the 'View & Template Options' pane)

4) End Time - Enter the End Time for the Event.  The Start and End Times will be displayed alongside the Event Name

5) Location - The Location where the Event is occurring (or will be affecting).  The Location setting determines what Schedule Calendar the Event will appear on
