    Article summary

    Export all 1099 MISC, NEC, and INT data from R365 using the 1099 Export report. Selected forms can be ran individually for each Legal Entity or under a Common Payer and then imported into tax1099.com so that your Organization's taxes can be done electronically.


    To navigate to the 1099 Export report, click 'My Reports' under 'Reports' in the left pane and then select 'Vendors' in the top header of the reporting window. Once opened, a listing of reports will be shown. 

    Find the '1099 Export' and select 'Customize' next to the report. This will open up a listing of all Report Parameters that can be set to pinpoint the exact download a User needs.


    Report Parameters

    1. Legal Entity - A listing of all Legal Entities. Only one Legal Entity can be selected

    2. Vendor - A listing of all 1099 Vendors for the selected Legal Entity

    3. Year - The year that the 1099 report is ran for. Default: Last year.

    4. Threshold Amount - The baseline amount for Vendor 1099 transactions to be included in the report. Vendors with an annual aggregated amount equal to or greater than the listed amount will be included in the report

    5. Form Type - The type of 1099 Form ran for the report. Options include:

      • 1099-MISC - Miscellaneous Income

      • 1099-NEC - Nonemployee Compensation

      • 1099-INT - Interest Income

    6. Process As A Common Payer - The option to process the Legal Entity as a Common Payer. If selected and the Legal Entity selected is a Common Payer, as noted on the Legal Entity record, then all Legal Entities assigned to report through this Legal Entity will be included

      A Common Payer Legal Entity must have 'Yes' selected to include all assigned Legal Entities in the report

    7. Download - This will download the report

    Report Columns

    When the file downloads, the following columns will appear. 

    1. Payer Type - The type of Vendor

    2. Payer TIN Type - The types of identification numbers used to classify the Legal Entity, including Social Security Number (SSN), Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), Adoption Taxpayer Identification Number (ATIN), or Employer Identification Number (EIN)

    3. Payer TIN - The Legal Entity's Tax ID

    4. P Business Name or Last Name - The Legal Entity name

    5. P First Name - This is used for an Individual Payer Type. Since this is listed for a 'Company, this field will be left empty

    6. P Middle Name - This is used for an Individual Payer Type. Since this is listed for a 'Company, this field will be left empty

    7. P Suffix - This is used for an Individual Payer Type. Since this is listed for a 'Company, this field will be left empty

    8. P Disregarded Entity - The entity that is separate from the owner's other entities, but for tax purposes is considered a part of it

    9. P Address 1 - The Legal Entity's Address Line 1

    10. P Address 2 - The Legal Entity's Address Line 2

    11. P City - The Legal Entity's city

    12. P State - The Legal Entity's state

    13. P Zip or Foreign Post Code - The Legal Entity's zip code

    14. P Country - The Legal Entity's country

    15. P Phone Number - The Legal Entity's phone number

    16. P Email Address (optional) - An email address tied to the Legal Entity. This is an optional field

    17. P State id (optional) - The state's ID number. This is an optional field

    18. Recipient Attention To (optional) - If the Recipient is a 'Business', this will list the Vendor contact's name, if entered in the Vendor record

    19. Recipient Type - The 1099 Type, as set on the Vendor record. Options include:

      • Individual

      • Business (noted as 'Company' in R365)

    20. Recipient TIN Type - The 1099 Type details, as noted on the Vendor record. Options include:

      • SSN (Individual)

      • EIN (Company)

    21. Recipient TIN - The Vendor Tax ID number 

    22. R Business Name or Last - The 1099 Company Name or the Individual's Last Name, as noted on the Vendor record

    23. R First Name - If the 1099 Vendor is marked as 'Individual', then the Individual's first name will be entered

    24. R Middle Name - If the 1099 Vendor is marked as 'Individual', then the Individual's middle name will be entered

    25. R Suffix - If the 1099 Vendor is marked as 'Individual', then the Individual's suffix can be entered

    26. R Address 1 - The 1099 Vendor's Address Line 1

    27. R Address 2 - The 1099 Vendor's Address Line 2

    28. R City - The 1099 Vendor's city

    29. R State - The 1099 Vendor's state

    30. R Zip or Foreign Postal Code - The 1099 Vendor's zip code

    31. R Country - The 1099 Vendor's country

    32. R Phone Number (optional) - The 1099 Vendor's phone number

    33. R Email Address (optional) - The 1099 Vendor's email address

    34. Acct No (optional) - A unique combination of numbers, letters, and special characters that can help identify the forms tied to a specific person. If you are not filing as a single person, this is not mandatory
