Due to tax filing changes effective for tax year 2017, R365 has created a new eFiling export for 1099 reports.  Please refer to the following article for more information on how to use this new report for Electronic 1099 Filing

1099-single-main

Restaurant365 can create and generate 1099 forms for your 1099 Vendors (Vendors you pay in excess of $600 in a calendar year).

1099 Vendor Setup

To use the 1099 Form feature, the Vendor must first be established as a 1099 Vendor.  To do so, open the Vendor Record, and navigate to the Vendor Additional Info tab.  Select the correct 1099 box in the dropdown, and enter the Tax ID information for the Vendor.

Blank 1099 Stock

1099 Forms are available from the IRS free of charge (4 to 6 weeks processing time) and can be ordered directly from the IRS.  Click here to order 1099 Forms from the IRS.  Additionally, blank 1099 stock can be purchased from online and local office suppliers.  As the form is government issued, all form suppliers will provide the correct form format.

1099 Reports

There are two reports that can be utilized for your 1099 Vendors: 1099 Form, and 1099 Review, as shown below in My Reports

1099-reports

1099 Form

To create 1099 Forms and print them on to blank 1099 stock, select the Legal Entity, specify the reporting year and click Run.  This will generate a PDF file titled '1099 Form.pdf' that you can then print as you would any other document.

Ensure that you have your blank 1099 forms in your printer prior to printing the documents.  The 1099 values from the PDF file will line up with the blank 1099 stock and you can then provide the forms to the respective individuals / reporting agencies.  See the below example output with the 1099 Form.pdf on the left, and the post-printing 1099 Form with the information populating the 1099 form:
