We are attempting to transition away from Excel to R365 to
calculate the daily/weekly amount of COGS spend available for each of our
locations.
Although the COGS Allotment report is good, there is no way
to run a weekly report with a running total. Also, the beginning inventory, and
projected ending inventory, is not included in the allotment.
Is there a solution in R365 that we are overlooking?
We would appreciate any insight you could provide.
Thank you!

If you are taking weekly inventories in R365 I would suggest the AvT report which shows Beginning Inventory + Purchases - Ending Inventory and also includes Waste and Transfers, if you are leveraging those tools as well.
